The socio-cultural organisation COOPERATIONS has announced that the next Nuits des Lampions will take place at the Jardin de Wiltz on Saturday 19 September 2026, running from 17:00.

The Creative Force Behind the Lights

COOPERATIONS maintains its own creative design studio that produces every lantern and light installation for the event. These pieces extend from the garden all the way to Place des Martyrs, turning the park into an open-air cultural venue. The studio reuses, repairs and further develops the same lanterns over many years, creating a consistent visual language that visitors recognise from one edition to the next. This approach keeps the focus on the people who shape the installations rather than on new purchases each time the festival appears.

The programme built around these lanterns includes street arts, musical performances and family-friendly activities. All elements occur in the open-air setting of the northern Luxembourg town of Wiltz, where the event first began in 2007.
